Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 4 August 2026
These terms apply to quotations, custom furniture, manufacturing, delivery and installation services supplied by TT Home Furnishings. Any project-specific written quotation or agreement will take priority where it differs from these general terms.
1. Quotations
Quotations are based on the information, measurements, design, finishes and scope available at the time. Unless stated otherwise on the quotation, a quotation is valid for 30 days. Changes to measurements, materials or scope may require a revised quotation.
2. Measurements and site readiness
Final pricing and design may be subject to site measurements. The client must provide safe and reasonable access to the premises and ensure the installation area is ready, cleared and suitable for work on the agreed date.
3. Deposits and payment
The deposit and payment schedule shown on the accepted quotation or invoice applies. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production starts only once the required deposit has cleared, and the outstanding balance is payable on completion or as stated in the quotation.
4. Custom-made products
Furniture is made to the client's approved specifications. Once materials have been ordered or production has started, cancellations or design changes may result in additional costs and amounts already paid may not be refundable to the extent that costs have already been incurred.
5. Materials and colour variations
Natural grain, pattern, shade and texture may vary between samples, photographs and finished materials. Availability and lead times may also change. Any substitute material will be discussed with the client before use.
6. Timelines
Estimated manufacturing and installation dates are provided in good faith. Delays may occur because of supplier availability, site conditions, approved changes or circumstances outside our reasonable control. We will communicate material delays as soon as reasonably possible.
7. Installation and inspection
The client should inspect the completed work and raise visible concerns promptly. Minor finishing items that do not prevent normal use will be attended to within a reasonable period agreed with the client.
8. Workmanship and care
Concerns relating to workmanship should be reported with photographs and a clear description. Damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, water leaks, structural movement, pests, abnormal wear, or customer-supplied materials is not covered unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Customer-supplied items
Where the client supplies appliances, fittings or materials, the client is responsible for confirming that they are suitable, available and compatible with the approved design. TT Home Furnishings is not responsible for defects in customer-supplied items.
10. Photographs
We will ask for permission before using identifiable project photographs for marketing. Clients may withdraw future marketing permission by contacting us, although material already lawfully published may not always be removable from third-party platforms.
11. Contact
Questions about these terms may be sent to info@tthomefurnishings.co.za or discussed on 073 968 4915.
For significant projects, the accepted quotation and any separate written contract should record the final scope, payment terms, timeline and warranty arrangements.
